Maximum Coatings & Sandblasting guarantees high quality work. That’s why we take the time to run quality tests during each job. Whether it be rust or chipped paint, Maximum Coatings will conduct an assessment test to determine the best plan of action for your sandblasting project.
Sandblasting Process
Before starting the sandblasting process, the technicians at Maximum Coatings & Sandblasting will remove parts that need to be protected, such as motors and wire harnesses, and protect other areas with cardboard and plastic. We then hydroblast to clean off heavy dirt and grease so we can start with a clean surface. Then move on to the sandblasting materials.
Sandblasting Options:
- Black Jack
- Sodium Oxide
- Crush Walnut
- Sponge
- Glass Bead
- Aluminum Oxide
Profile Reader: Maximum Coatings strives to make sure that each job is done quickly and accurately. Because of this goal, we conduct a reporting process that will measure certain elements of the material. After we finish blasting the piece of equipment, we do a profile reader. This allows us to get precise measurements of how deep the profile in the steel is. After we assign a depth profile to the steel, we can accurately apply coats of paint that we know will correctly adhere to the base material.
